Rainbow Child Care Center is a non-profit, United Way Partner agency that offers care for children ages one through five. It was started in 1983 as an outreach mission of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and Macedonia Baptist Church. It moved to 121 Kingspoint Boulevard in 1990.

When the center was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, local Rotarians and Rotary International funding helped to rebuild the facility.
