 lection. Keep Slidell Beautiful needs 2-4 volunteers to help with the mon
 thly glass recycling project - the second Saturday of every month.  The c
 ontainers are now located behind the gates of Public Operations on Bayou L
 ane (between W. Hall and W. Pennsylvania). Volunteers will help set up pri
 or to the start of the event\, direct cars from Bayou Lane into the facili
 ty\, and assist with unloading glass into the dumpster.  Let us know in t
 he Comments of your registration which hours you can volunteer or select t
 hem using the KSB Glass Recycling  - August Time Slot button under the re
 gistration. Accepted: Container glass (all colors) Clean wine/whiskey/beer
  bottles (NO Caps/lids please) Drinking glasses Empty candle jars (please 
 remove all wax residue) Clear\, flat glass panes Frosted glass And now: Cl
 ean aluminum cans...but not tin cans!   Not Accepted: Lightbulbs Windows\
 , mirrors\, and tabletops Pyrex bakeware Windshields and other laminated g
 lass Tempered glass Plexiglass and acrylic glass Ceramic\, porcelain\, and
