Civil Air Patrol

James Lachute is the Deputy Commander of Cadets for the Slidell Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, the volunteer civilian Auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. He is also the Wing (State) Historian and will include information and pictures of the Civil Air Patrol's activities from looking for German subs in WWII (including a Coastal Patrol base on Grand Isle), through the present.
