October Backpack Blessings

We are again supporting the Backpack Blessings program at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.  This program supplies food for the weekends for children 6th grade and below that may be homeless or in need of food assistance.    

We will meet at the first door of the first building on the left at 360 Robert Blvd., Slidell at 9 am.  Our duties are to fill the bags with the necessary items, tie up the bags and set them in bins for delivery to schools by the ladies of Something's Brewing.  If we have time, we can also refill the food bins with supplies.

This is a monthly project, occurring on the third Saturday of the month.  Members are encouraged to participate as often as they are available and invite friends and other family members to also participate!
