Slidell Heritage Festival
The Slidell Heritage Festival is an annual event that takes place on the Saturday of the 4th of July weekend at Slidell's Heritage Park.  It is hosted by the Rotary Club of Slidell and the Rotary Club of Slidell Northshore, who both have an equal number of members serving on the Board, in conjunction with the City of Slidell.

The goal of the event is to raise funds for local charities that are sponsored by both Rotary Clubs.  The event features vendors and food trucks offering great options for sale. Drinks are also available for purchase.  And there is always a fantastic musical line-up of local artists followed by a fantastic fireworks display, and more music.  The event's hours are 4 pm til 11 pm.

Both clubs donate hundreds of hours planning and staffing the Festival, which is a great day of family fun!  The charitable organizations that benefit from the event also contribute volunteers to provide services such as trash pick-up, taking admission tickets, and manning food and drink booths.  The event is also underwritten by many local businesses and individuals who purchase sponsorships that range from $150 to $8,000.
