Our recurring service project for the year will be filling bags with food for the weekends for children 6th grade and below that are on food assistance in five area schools.  We will refill the food bins with food, as well as assist in delivering bags to schools.

This service project will take place on the 3rd Saturday of each month.  We will meet at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 360 Robert Blvd., Slidell at the first door of the first building on the left.  Our project will only last one hour - 9:00 am - 10:00 am.  We can have as many as 8 volunteers each session.

Events will be created each month, allowing volunteers (including friends and family) to sign up so we'll know how many people to expect.  This project is being funded by one of our District grants and matching funds from our club.  We appreciate your support!
